Simona Noja, Director of Vienna State Opera Ballet School, shares wonderful advice for improving big jumps and the important role that big jumps should play in every class.

Simona Noja danced as a soloist at the Romanian Opera in Cluj-Napoca and the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf. She later went on to become a Prima Ballerina of the Vienna State Opera. Ms. Noja aslo danced as a guest artist at the Ballet of the Teatro Stabile Colon, Teatro Municipal, Ballet de Cuba, Bolshoi Theatre, La Scala, Opera Ballet (Rome), Dresden Opera, Teatro San Carlo, the Royal Swedish Ballet, the Finnish National Ballet, Stuttgart Ballet, Frankfurt Ballet, Bavarian State Opera in Monaco of Bavaria. In 2002 she founded the Cultural Foundation “Simona Noja”, in 2006 the School of Dance “DanceArts” in Vienna, and in 2009 she founded The Dance Studio Theater RenaissDance. In 2010, she was appointed Executive Director of the School of Vienna Opera Ballet. Simona Noja has won the silver medal in the dance competition in Jackson, (1990), the Star of Romania (title: Chevalier) (2002) and the Austrian Cross of Honor for Science and Art, First Class (2008)   She is currently Director of the Dance School of the Vienna State Opera.
